Your earning potential will vary, depending on a number of different factors. Like many fields, where you live will impact your salary as will your level of education and professional experience. If you have worked in emergency management for a few years and recently earned your master’s degree, you might expect a higher wage. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported a mean annual wage of $53,460 in May 2011 for emergency management specialists.
